As a data engineer, you will be responsible for creating and managing catalogs, schemas, and tables using deep hands-on experience with Unity Catalog.Key Responsibilities:Create and manage data pipelines, automating data onboarding and metadata registration via Unity Catalog APIs or Databricks CLI.Develop automation pipelines using GitHub Actions and ensure seamless deployment of Databricks configurations, code, and governance artifacts.Manage source-controlled scripts and jobs that drive governance and metadata workflows.Design and implement efficient data processing systems using Python (preferred) or PySpark development skills.Requirements:Proficiency in Databricks & Unity Catalog, with hands-on experience in creating and managing catalogs, schemas, and tables.Expertise in automating data onboarding and metadata registration via Unity Catalog APIs or Databricks CLI.Understanding of lineage, ownership, data access policies, and Delta Sharing.Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices for deploying Databricks configurations, code, and governance artifacts.Experience building automation pipelines using GitHub Actions.Ability to manage source-controlled scripts and jobs that drive governance and metadata workflows.Excellent Python (preferred) or PySpark development skills for scripting and automation.
