This Senior Data Engineer role demands a strong combination of technical expertise and practical experience in building and managing complex data systems. Below is a breakdown of the core skills and responsibilities, based on your provided description:

Senior Data Engineer with 8-12 years of total experience, including 4-6 years of relevant experience :

Key Skills:
Cloud Platforms :
Proficient in AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) and Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory) for scalable data processing and storage.
Data Engineering Tools :
DBT : 4-6 years of experience with DBT for building, testing, and deploying transformation models in production.
Airflow : 4-6 years of hands-on experience designing, scheduling, and managing complex workflows with Airflow (integration with DBT and Snowflake).
Snowflake : Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, including schema design, performance optimization, and cost-efficient data storage.
Data Vault & Modeling :
4-6 years of experience designing and implementing Data Vault (Raw & Business Layers) with a strong understanding of Point-in-Time (PIT) and Semantic Layer concepts.
Programming & Automation :
Strong proficiency in Python (especially PySpark ) for building scalable data processing pipelines and automating metadata-driven workflows.
CI/CD & DevOps :
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar tools for automated deployment and testing of data pipelines.
Collaboration & Documentation :
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience creating clear and detailed documentation for data workflows, pipelines, and governance.
Certifications :
SnowPro Core Certification (or equivalent) required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Data Pipelines : Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using DBT, Snowflake, and Airflow for efficient data processing and transformation.
Data Vault Implementation : Architect and implement Data Vault models to ensure scalability and flexibility of data architectures.
Performance Optimization : Optimize Snowflake queries and data models for large-scale data analytics and real-time processing.
CI/CD Automation : Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying, testing, and monitoring data workflows in a production environment.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
8-12 years total experience , with 4-6 years directly working with Data Vault ,Airflow , DBT , Snowflake.
Strong ability to optimize data models and orchestrate data workflows at scale.
Proven track record of mentoring teams , leading projects , and delivering high-quality data solutions in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
