DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage and oversee assigned trademark portfolios.Handle trademark prosecution, opposition, and rectification matters before relevant authorities.Draft, review, and file applications, oppositions, counter-statements, and responses.Advise clients on trademark availability, filing strategies, and brand protection.Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for effective case management.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trademark-related activities.Support senior leadership in business development initiatives and client relationship management.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in Trademark law and IP practice.Education: Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent; Masters in IP Law preferred.Required SkillsProven experience in independent portfolio management.Strong exposure to trademark prosecution and opposition proceedings.Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.Preferred SkillsExperience in a similar role within a reputable IP law firm or corporate legal department.Working knowledge of international trademark laws and filing systems (e.g., Madrid Protocol).Strong client-handling and advisory capabilities.)
