Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of an intelligent, automated voice agent capable of handling real-time customer conversations. This role will involve designing and building voice-first AI systems that connect phone calls to speech-to-text (STT), large language model (LLM), and text-to-speech (TTS) pipelines.The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating telephony platforms with real-time voice workflows, implementing STT/TTS solutions using Whisper, Amazon Transcribe, Google Speech, or Azure Cognitive Services, and orchestrating LLMs using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent frameworks to manage prompts, tools, and function calls.Responsibilities also include developing robust APIs to write conversation outcomes into internal systems and trigger downstream actions, ensuring low-latency, scalable architecture for real-time voice interactions, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to align on goals and deliverables.This role requires a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing techniques, and software engineering principles.Requirements8–10 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in voice AI or conversational systems.Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
