Job DescriptionThe role of CFIN Tester is centered around ensuring the accuracy and reliability of SAP Central Finance processes within an S/4HANA environment. This position focuses on quality assurance, guaranteeing data accuracy and system compliance with business requirements.Key responsibilities include:Test planning and executionDesign and execute functional test cases for CFIN scenarios (initial load, replication, AIF monitoring)Perform integration, regression, and UAT cycles for financial postings and ledger updatesData and process validationValidate master data consistency, mappings, and posting logic for replicated transactionsVerify integration with FI/CO, MM, SD modulesDefect managementLog and track defects using tools like Rally, ALM, JIRAParticipate in defect triage and collaborate with developers for resolutionDocumentationPrepare test plans, RTM, execution reports, and audit evidenceCross-team collaborationWork closely with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholdersRequired Skills & QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:5-7 years of experience in SAP QA testing, with at least 2-3 years in SAP CFIN (SAP Central Finance)SAP modules: FI/CO (GL, AP, AR), MM, SDTools: Rally, ALM, JIRA, SQL for backend validationTechnical knowledge:Batch job monitoring (SM37)IDoc/XML validationAIF error handlingTesting types: Functional, Integration, Regression, UATPreferred SkillsWhile not required, it would be beneficial to have:Experience with retail or finance-specific flows (e.g., GR/IR reconciliation, procure-to-pay)Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for documentationFamiliarity with test automation frameworks and QA methodologies
