About the RoleThe position of Renewable Energy Sector Lead is a senior leadership role that will drive strategic vision and solution development for the renewable energy sector.Define and refine the company's strategic direction in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on emerging trends and disruptive technologies shaping the future of energy.Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for scaling Data & AI solutions across the value chain (generation, forecasting, asset management, maintenance, grid analytics, market operations).Identify opportunities to leverage data-driven insights and innovative viewpoints to establish the organization as a trusted advisor in renewable energy & utilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead industry strategy, thought leadership, and go-to-market efforts for the renewable energy vertical, including messaging, positioning, value propositions, and customer engagement models.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaigns, collateral, case studies, and market differentiation strategies.Represent the organization at industry forums, webinars, conferences, and partner events as a subject-matter expert.Required Skills and QualificationsPh.D. in Energy Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Renewable Energy, Operations Research, AI/ML, or a related field.10+ years of experience in renewable energy and data science, including analytics platforms, data engineering, advanced forecasting models, optimization, or machine learning.Deep understanding of renewable generation technologies (solar, wind, battery, hydrogen), plant operations, grid constraints, and energy market structures.Proven ability to translate complex domain knowledge into clear thought leadership and impactful business strategies.Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior decision-makers.How to ApplyCandidates should have a strong track record of driving innovation and growth in the renewable energy sector.
