Cloud Platform EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and contribute to the management, operation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving seamless deployment, automation, and monitoring of our services.Implementing and managing infrastructure using Terraform to define and provision our GCP infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.Automating configuration management using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of manual errors.Monitoring and optimizing performance using DataDog to identify and resolve issues before they impact our users.Collaborating with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of our applications.Innovating and improving DevOps processes and overall system reliability and performance.Key Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have:Good understanding of cloud principles and services, with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure required.Familiarity with using Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation.Experience with DataDog or other visibility platforms to effectively monitor and optimize system performance.Solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Cloud Platform tools and practices.
