Pediatric Nutrition Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nutrition Specialist to provide diet counseling and develop personalized nutrition plans for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nutrition and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement customized diet plans for children based on their nutritional needs and health status.Provide education and guidance to parents, caregivers, and children on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and meal planning.Counsel mothers on proper nutrition and meal planning for their infants and young children.Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in pediatric nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into your practice.Requirements:Qualifications as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).Minimum 10 years of experience working with children's nutrition and developing individualized meal plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families and healthcare professionals.Strong understanding of child development and its impact on nutrition and growth.Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.Bonus Points:Experience using electronic medical records (EMRs) or other clinical software systems.Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those commonly spoken by families from diverse cultural backgrounds.Preferred Qualities:Advanced degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or related field.Certification in pediatric nutrition or a related specialty.
