Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Web Data Extractor who will be responsible for designing and implementing web crawlers, extracting valuable insights from the web, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills and experience with web scraping frameworks, browser automation tools, and handling anti-scraping mechanisms.Maintain and enhance existing web scraping and data crawling projects by analyzing project requirements and identifying areas for improvement.Develop and refine crawlers using Python-based tools and frameworks by leveraging expertise in web development and software engineering.Utilize browser automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) to handle dynamic content and improve overall system performance.Clean, validate, and integrate extracted data into downstream storage systems by applying knowledge of data architecture and database management.Implement and manage solutions for anti-bot measures (CAPTCHAs, IP rotation, etc.) to ensure compliance with web crawling best practices and protect against unauthorized access.Optimize crawling efficiency by conducting thorough analysis of system performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective data acquisition strategies that meet business objectives.This is a remote work position that requires high-speed internet connectivity, a capable business-grade computer, headphones with clear audio quality, and a stable power connection with backups.Additional information about this job opportunity can be discussed during an interview.
