As a seasoned QA professional, you will be responsible for testing ETL/data pipeline and API functionalities across cloud and on-prem environments. Your expertise in Informatica tools such as IDMC/IICS, CDI, and MDM SaaS will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesETL / Data Pipeline Testing (Mandatory)Perform end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines to validate source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and SCD logic.Validate data completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation by analyzing results and logs.Test Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns for accuracy and efficiency.Develop test scenarios using mapping documents, BRDs, and ETL workflows to ensure comprehensive coverage.API Testing (Mandatory)Test REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI to ensure request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios are functioning correctly.Work closely with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces and validate JSON/XML schema structure, status codes, and pagination logic.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement test automation frameworks and tools.Quality Assurance & ProcessDevelop test plans, test cases, test data, and maintain QA documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.Log defects, track them to closure, and participate in defect triage with the development team to drive resolution and continuous improvement.
