Early Years Coordinator OverviewAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Coordinator to lead our early years programme.Key Responsibilities:Schedule and conduct weekly meetings with EYP teachers for collaboration and agenda-setting.Coordinate IB/Grade-specific workshops and training for new teachers.Cross-verify classroom setup with subject-specific requirements and EYP guidelines.Ensure timely coordination of subject-specific events, including field trips.Record meetings and action plans, building resources for the programme and department.Train teachers on subject-specific requirements and IB PYP standards.Maintain open communication with parents through timely newsletters.Orient new parents into the programme.Handle student and faculty issues such as behaviour.Familiarize the school community with EYP policies.Lead the early years programme, overseeing its general organization and administration.Academic Leadership:Evaluate written curriculum alignment with IB PYP expectations.Review teacher lesson planning and classroom performance through observations and interviews.Train incoming teachers on ATL mapping within their grade areas.Map curriculum including subject skills, ATLs, and ATTs.Monitor student progression and develop action plans to support learning.Allocate grade-specific resources accurately.Conduct instructional rounds to ensure quality teaching practices.
