Furniture Designer RoleDesigning modern and cost-efficient engineered wood furniture is a key aspect of this role. As a Furniture Designer, you will utilize CAD/CAM software to develop 2D/3D drawings, generate CNC machining files, and ensure efficient material utilization.Create innovative and scalable design concepts for home, storage, décor, and modular furniture.Prepare detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for CNC production.Optimize board usage to minimize wastage.Translate designs into CNC-ready files.Align designs with modern trends, cost efficiency, and fast delivery goals.We are looking for professionals with:Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Wood Technology.ITI/Polytechnic candidates with relevant CNC/furniture design experience.A strong portfolio and 3-5 years of experience are preferred. Freshers with a strong CAD/CAM background may also apply.The ideal candidate should have knowledge of:CNC Router operations (cutting, drilling, grooving, carving).Nesting optimization for 8x4 boards.G-code/toolpath generation.This role requires expertise in CAD/CAM software, CNC Router operations, and material optimization. A solid understanding of wood technology and furniture design principles is also essential. The successful candidate will be able to translate designs into CNC-ready files and ensure efficient material utilization.
