Job Description: Frontend Engineer (React.js, Next.js)

Location: Gujarat (GIFT City) | Experience: 3-5 years | Type: Full-Time


Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in React.js and Next.js to develop, test, and maintain responsive and user-friendly interfaces. This role requires close collaboration with designers and backend teams to deliver seamless, high-performance applications in a fast-paced startup environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • UI Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reusable user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and integrate with backend teams for API integration.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend components for performance across devices and browsers using techniques like lazy loading, memoization, and code splitting.
  • Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure compatibility across browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and devices.
  • Testing and Debugging: Write and execute tests using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or similar tools to ensure bug-free, reliable applications.
  • State Management: Utilize state management libraries like Redux or Zustand for efficient application state handling.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Frontend Development: 3-5 years of experience in developing, testing, and maintaining front-end applications.
  • Core Technologies: Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs using tools like Axios or Fetch.
  • Design Systems: Familiarity with design systems like Material UI, Shadcn, or CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Strong understanding of browser-specific quirks and techniques for resolving them.
  • Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control, including pull requests and collaboration.
  • Agile Development: Experience working in Agile teams, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript for type-safe front-end development.
  • Knowledge of caching and browser storage mechanisms like localStorage, sessionStorage, or API caching.
  • Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Lighthouse, and Chrome DevTools for performance optimization.
  • Experience working on fintech or trading platforms with real-time data handling.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha, Cypress, or Jest.
