Job Overview :

We’re on the lookout for a talented US Accountant with minimum 1 years of experience to join our Vadodara team. If you're someone who enjoys diving into the details, has a knack for numbers, and loves coordinating with people, this role could be a great fit for you. You'll be handling accounts payable and receivable, among other responsibilities, and will be a key player in ensuring smooth communication between our customers, vendors, and various teams.


Responsibilities :

  • Close books of accounts at the end of each financial period, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the processing of accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Prepare and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.
  • Prepare and upload accurate journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations by researching and recording outstanding cash items, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
  • Prepare and finalize month-end closing reconciliation files, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies addressed.
  • Perform additional account reconciliations as required, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing accurate data to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve any outstanding issues or inquiries, ensuring smooth financial transactions and relationships.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed, supporting various departments with relevant financial insights.


Required Skills :

  • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas, is essential.
  • Strong work ethic, with a commitment to upholding high moral standards and professional integrity.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently while maintaining a commitment to excellence and high standards of performance.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant, hands-on experience in accounting, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
