The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who not only delivers high-quality clinical documentation but also ensures consistent team performance, adherence to client protocols, and continuous process improvement.This role is ideal for someone who has mastered scribing in US-based clinical environments and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities while maintaining hands-on involvement with patient documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesIndividual Contributor ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians.Scribe medical record documentation utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems.Ensure medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation.Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the prescribed format.Submit completed documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.Perform clerical and administrative tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.Team Leadership & Management ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of medical scribes, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to client protocols.Conduct regular QA reviews and performance audits, providing constructive feedback to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Serve as the primary point of escalation for operational or process-related issues within the scribe team.Support the onboarding and training of new scribes, ensuring alignment with Triple’s standards and client expectations.Coordinate shift schedules, manage attendance, and ensure optimal team coverage for assigned providers.Monitor team productivity metrics (TAT, accuracy, physician feedback) and report performance trends to the Operations Manager/Account Lead.Collaborate closely with the client-side medical team to clarify documentation requirements and relay updates to the scribe team.Drive a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous learning among team members.Participate in client calls and internal meetings to discuss workflow improvements and best practices.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field (Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, etc.)Minimum 4 years of experience as a medical scribe, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or QA role.Prior experience working with US-based clinics/hospitals (internal medicine experience preferred).Strong understanding of medical terminology, summarization, and documentation protocols.Excellent English professional writing and communication skills, including advanced grammar and spelling.Proven ability to lead remote teams, monitor performance, and coach for improvement.Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.).Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a secure and private environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection.Schedule (US Shifts Only)Eastern Time: 6:30 p.m. – 3:30 a.m. IST (Rotational Shifts)Pacific Time: 10:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. IST (Rotational Shifts)Logistical RequirementsQuiet and brightly illuminated work environmentLaptop with minimum 8GB RAM, i5 8th Gen processor or higher720p webcam and noise-cancelling headsetReliable internet with a minimum 100 Mbps speedSmartphone for two-factor authentication and communicationWhy Join TripleAt Triple, you will be part of a high-performing global team that values excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
