Job OverviewThe Service Desk Lead is a key role responsible for handling L2 issues reported with the Helpdesk. This includes receiving calls, emails, and web-tickets from end-users and other Service Desks/Help Desks, creating Incident tickets or Service Request tickets, logging pertinent information, and tracking and classifying incoming incidents or service requests.Main ResponsibilitiesReceive calls, emails, and web-tickets for end users and other Service Desks / Help DesksCreate Incident tickets or Service Request ticketsTrack and classify incoming incidents or service requestsProvide initial assessment of categorization and prioritization for reported Incidents and Service RequestsTarget higher level of first contact resolutionEnsure Incidents and Service Requests are properly escalated and assigned to appropriate support groupsPerform hierarchical escalation to Service Desk Management and Incident ManagementCommunicate status updates to end-usersCompile data through Incident entryMaintain ownership of Incidents ensuring status update and resolution according to SLAsThis role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and analytical abilities to effectively manage multiple priorities and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in IT support or Helpdesk environmentExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficientlyBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environment
