We are seeking an individual with expertise in scientific presentation to join our editorial production team as a full-time contractor. Our ideal candidate will have a doctoral or master's degree in biomedical or life sciences and possess excellent English skills, including writing and verbal communication at a professional level. Strong reading comprehension and the ability to concisely convey main points are essential. Responsibilities include designing and creating engaging seminar-style presentations using PowerPoint, working with source material provided by producers and experts, replacing copyrighted images or recreating them, and spotting mistakes and finding solutions in-house. Basic audio editing skills are also required, with training available. To be successful in this role, you will need to coordinate and work with other teams involved in the production process, possess strong typographical and composition skills, and have a high level of self-motivation in pursuit of excellence. Meticulous attention to detail is also essential. Additional qualifications and skills that are desirable but not essential include official English accreditation, experience in medical communications or education, a portfolio or work samples, knowledge of graphic software, and analytical and troubleshooting skills.
