About the RoleThe Plant ER Lead is responsible for fostering positive labor relations and ensuring compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements at the plant level.This role involves managing union and worker relationships, handling negotiations, resolving disputes, adopting and implementing best practices and supporting grievance redressal mechanisms.The ER Lead also drives engagement initiatives for the blue-collar workforce, ensures adherence to factory rules, and represents the organization in dealings with government and labor authorities.Strategies for SuccessEmployee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies aligned with the company's goals.Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.Welfare InitiativesIntegration: Collaborate with senior management to integrate engagement and welfare initiatives with broader HR strategies.Program Design: Design programs to enhance labor retention, satisfaction, and productivity.Compliance: Ensure all welfare initiatives comply with legal requirements and company policies.Workplace ActivitiesEvent Planning: Plan and execute employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and events.Assessment: Conduct regular assessments and surveys to gauge labor satisfaction and identify concerns.Professional DevelopmentFeedback Mechanism: Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve engagement and welfare programs.Metrics Tracking: Track and report on the effectiveness of engagement and welfare programs using relevant metrics.Key Responsibilities:Provide support and guidance to time office team members.Highlight any discrepancies or issues to management for resolution.
