We are looking for an AI & Data Engineer a hybrid of a data scientist, computer scientist, and software engineer who thrives on building, experimenting, and deploying real systems at scale. If you've ever wanted to go beyond research notebooks and ship production-grade AI products, this is your playground.
What you'll do
- Design & Build AI Systems: Develop end-to-end pipelines (data ingestion, cleaning, embeddings, model training, evaluation, and deployment).
- Engineer Scalable Infrastructure: Architect APIs, microservices, and data systems (structured + unstructured) that integrate into live products.
- Experiment & Ship: Prototype generative AI tools, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and autonomous agents—and push them into production.
- Full-Stack Thinking: Move fluidly between model work, backend engineering, and systems design.
- Collaborate Across Ventures: Work alongside product managers, designers, and founders to bring new AI-powered ventures to life.
What we're looking for
- Strong programming background (Python, Node.js, or similar) and deep comfort with software engineering best practices.
- Experience with ML/AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
- Knowledge of data engineering & databases (SQL/NoSQL, vector DBs like Pinecone/Weaviate, cloud storage).
- Familiarity with MLOps and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Hands-on exposure to retrieval systems, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
- A builder's mindset -comfortable taking ownership from zero-to-one.
- Experience with multi-modal systems (text, voice, vision).
- Interest in generative agents, conversational AI, or recommendation engines.
- Previous work in startups or venture studios.
