The Business Analysis function plays a key role during the onset of a project or program by helping define scope and create requirements working closely with business partners to understand and translate needs. This role serves as a contact for IT during the design, development, and testing phase. Functional expertise is required.Major Duties:Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficultAs subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical levelOperates independently and has in-depth knowledge of business unit, specific area of expertise and strong knowledge in other areasStrategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areasAs subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical levelCarries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficultRole is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activitiesConducts preliminary analysisResponsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or managementKnowledge Excellent oral and written communication skills are requiredIn-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is requiredHighly flexible and adaptable to changeSkills & Experience:Graduate or above10+ years of experience into Fee Billing & Fee Management operations & Business Analysis.In-depth experience working Finance environmentKnowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx would be preferred.Exposure to Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Custody productsExperience of Microsoft Outlook and OfficeUnderstanding of complex Fee Billing processes (preferably within Banking environment)Extensive data manipulation and transformation experienceInternal Eligibility Criteria:24 months as Consultant12 months as Senior Consultant to apply for lateral movementWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
