Job Title: Enterprise Monitoring ArchitectThe role of an Enterprise Monitoring Architect is a key position within our organization. We are seeking a highly experienced individual to lead the design, assessment, migration, and optimization of enterprise-grade monitoring, observability, and automation platforms.This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of our business separation initiative, requiring a full evaluation of the current monitoring ecosystem and strategic planning for migration, replacement, or modernization.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes, LiveActionNX / LiveNX, SolarWinds suite, and CMDB/Inventory platforms. They should also have hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Ansible, Python, or similar, and be able to integrate tooling ecosystems with network management platforms (e.g., Cisco ACI).The selected candidate will provide expert guidance, define the future-state tooling architecture, and ensure operational readiness during the separation. This includes assessing the client's current monitoring, observability, and automation toolset and determining the optimal strategy for migration or replacement.Required Skills and Qualifications8–12+ years of experience in monitoring, observability, automation, and network architecture rolesStrong expertise with ThousandEyes, LiveActionNX / LiveNX, SolarWinds suite, and CMDB/Inventory platformsHands-on experience with automation frameworks like Ansible, Python, or similarExperience integrating tooling ecosystems with network management platforms (e.g., Cisco ACI)Proven ability to assess enterprise environments and develop tooling migration or replacement strategiesWe are looking for someone who can partner with network engineering, security, operations, and enterprise architecture teams to prepare architecture documentation, decision papers, standards, and governance materials.Mentorship and guidance are essential aspects of this role, as the successful candidate will need to mentor and guide engineering teams on monitoring and automation best practices.
