Job DescriptionRole: Network Engineer L3 (Cisco Switches & Wireless)6+ years in Cisco switches and wireless (L3 support) with proactive in identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.Required SkillsMinimum years of work experience preferred: 6+ yearsOther work requirements: Might have to work in shifts ( Morning / General / Second Shift ) Needs to attend calls in US morningLicenses and certifications: Professional Certification - CCNA is a must, CCNP (Routing & Switching) is preferredCo-ordination and Interaction with business users via different modes of communication.In depth knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco Switches and Wireless, their administration/configuration & troubleshootingCommunication skills (both verbal and written)Cabling standardsVmware & WindowsCisco Switches - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:L3 network engineer should be Subject Matter Expert (SME) Switches & WirelessAdministration of Cisco LAN and Wireless technologiesAbility to understand LAN, Wireless, TCP/IP & IP Addressing terminology and correlate with production environmentPerform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems related to site LAN and Wireless.Analyze business requirements to develop LAN & Wireless solutions and perform network modeling, analysis and planning.Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output reports to detect problemsPrepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, equipment configurations with defined LAN & Wireless standardsImplement network Switches, Wireless controller and Access point solutions as requiredImplementation of HSRP, EtherChannel, VLAN and VTPImplementation of Trunking, Spanning tree and Access listsImplementation of SSH, SNMP, DHCP, QoS technologiesDeliver the projects assigned to him/herAdministration of Cisco Switches ( 35XX , 93XX , 94XX , 95XX series), Wireless Controllers and Access PointsAdministration of Cisco Prime and Cisco ISE as AAAAdministration of Cisco Tools like DNA Center and Cisco Service Platform CollectorCoordinate with Cisco on TAC cases for resolution of the issueAttend scheduled calls in US morning timeSupport pre planned network implementations in different timezonesAbility to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logicallyAbility to troubleshoot and identify root causeCisco Wireless - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Hands on experience on Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access pointsWLC 3504/5508/5520/8540/9800AP 28XX/37XX/38XX/91XXHands on experience on Wireless Implementations & TroubleshootingIn depth knowledge of troubleshooting wireless issuesHands on experience on tools like Cisco Prime, DNA Center and Cisco ISE as AAAUnderstanding of network sniffers, WireShark capturesBasic understanding of Routing ProtocolsBasic understanding of Network Hardening standardsDesign and implementation of LAN and Wireless networkGood Communication skills and ability to coordinate with global stakeholdersVendor coordination & managementEducationAny Graduate (Applicable for GIT)CCNA (Must to have )J CNP routing & switching ( preferred )J
