FinOps Data EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a FinOps Data Engineer.This is a key role in bridging the gap between cloud financial operations and engineering, requiring strong experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, and Cloud Cost management.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to work with technical and business stakeholders, analyzing cloud cost and usage across AWS, Databricks, and other Cloud & On-Prem platforms.We require someone who can design and develop ETL solutions for cost and usage data using best practices for data warehousing and analytics.The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud cost dashboards and reporting solutions for visibility across LOBs and programs, implementing tagging standards and establishing compliance checks and generating reports to ensure adherence to tagging standards.Responsibilities include:Data Engineering:Analyze cloud cost and usage across AWS, Databricks, and other Cloud & On-Prem platforms.Design and develop ETL solutions for cost and usage data using best practices for data warehousing and analytics.Build and maintain cloud cost dashboards and reporting solutions for visibility across LOBs and programs.Detect & Analyze cost anomalies and usage patterns; proactively identify optimization opportunities using AWS Cost explorer, Databricks System tables & backup tables as driver.Collaborate with stakeholders (DevOps, Application teams, Finance, Architect, Infra) to implement cost-saving strategies following FinOps Foundation standards.We are committed to providing a supportive environment that allows employees to grow and develop their skills.Please note that this job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
