Job Title: Lead Embedded Systems Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to oversee and coordinate our team of Development and Test Engineers. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled technical leader with expertise in C++, Python, and modern tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence, with experience in embedded systems, particularly in the automotive domain. The role requires strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise development and validation teams, ensuring efficient Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).
Technical Oversight: Review and guide work on C++ development, Python/Bash scripting, Linux systems, and automotive embedded systems (CAN).
Client Engagement: Act as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Process Improvement: Optimize workflows using Git, Jira, and Confluence to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mentoring: Support and develop team members’ technical and professional skills.
Quality Assurance: Deliver high-quality outputs on time, meeting both client expectations and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban practices.
Tool Proficiency: Expert in Git and Jira; basic knowledge of Confluence is a plus.
Programming Skills: Proficient in C++ & Basic familiarity with Python and Bash scripting.
Operating Systems: Advanced proficiency in Linux.
Automotive Embedded Systems: Solid experience in embedded systems within the automotive sector & Strong understanding and application of CAN (Controller Area Network) protocols.
Language Skills: Clear and fluent communication in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French is an advantage but not mandatory.
Project and Team Management: Proven experience in managing projects, teams, and client communications effectively.
Personal Attributes: Dynamic, patient and methodical in approach.
