Project Finance (Senior Associate/Delivery Lead), GurgaonThe candidate will work dedicatedly with an investment bank and will be responsible for handling projects, including detailed target screening and market updates & newsletters across Fintech and Capital Markets sectors. The candidate will be in direct interaction with client and responsible for final delivery of projects.Key Responsibilities:Creating / updating financial models for project finance companiesDrafting deal memos, consultant report summaries, stakeholder analysis, exposure table, profitability and sensitivity analysisAlso support on portfolio monitoring tasks including reviews, trigger reports, other portfolio tasksSupporting our clients on procuring buy side targets on weekly basis, which includes:Target company identification based on topic area directionProcuring contacts at the targetDeveloping rationaleWork on various work products related to M&A Buy or Sell side deal / Corporate Finance or Capital Market transactionsAssist in preparing Pitch books including industry overview, company profiles, management biographies, broker outlook, share price performance analysis, deal case studies, peer valuation multiples etc.Work on financial analysis, industry benchmarking and valuation modelsExcellent working knowledge of market database tools e.g., FactSet, Capital IQ, Thomson One, Merger Market etc.Conducting analysis & performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packsRequired BackgroundPost-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualificationRelevant experience of 3+ years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firmExperience on working primarily qualitative work as well as quantitative workThe candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideasSound knowledge and relevant work experience on industry and macro-economic overviews/ studies, competitive landscape, detailed company analysis, etc.Ability to work on complex jobs independentlyExpert knowledge on sector and country-specific data sources, such as CapIQ, PitchBook, SourceScrub, FactSet, Thomson and MergerMarketStrong communication skills to engage with the client and managing workflowMS Office skills - should be excellent in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
