Financial Support SpecialistThe role of a Financial Support Specialist involves providing expert financial assistance to clients in a professional and efficient manner.This position requires the ability to collect and validate financial records, prepare accurate cost reports, and review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency.The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to solicit the right information from clients and provide feedback to the organization.A minimum of 2 years' work experience in a similar business management position is required, along with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities:Collect and validate general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.Prepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates.Review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency.Prepare tax credit and grant forms.Review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency.Assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Proofread documents prepared by other team members.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a similar business management position.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clients.Excellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies.High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Quick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and tracking.Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlines.Outgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.Benefits:Competitive salary range: 4-4.2 LPA.Additional Information:Business writing skills are preferred.Experience with consulting services type of business is beneficial.Eager to learn new skills and competencies and build a career in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Business Management.Knowledge of French language and social media platforms and business networking sites is desirable.
