About this RoleAs a Principal Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design and build scalable and reliable data infrastructure from scratch.You will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process and transform large datasets efficiently.Owning the data platform, including data warehousing, data lakes, and associated processing frameworks is also key in this role.You will ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for downstream consumers like analytics and machine learning teams.Solving challenging technical problems related to data ingestion, storage, performance, and scalability in a distributed environment is also expected.This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value through actionable insights.RequirementsA minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience building and maintaining production-scale data platforms.Demonstrable mastery of data engineering fundamentals.Expert-level proficiency in SQL and strong programming skills in at least one language like Python or Scala.Deep, hands-on experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink).Proven experience with cloud-based data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, Databricks).
