About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned security professional to join our team as a Senior Data Security Engineer. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and maintenance of security systems, collaborating with Splunk Admins to monitor platform health, and implementing data retention policies aligned with compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:Act as a subject matter expert for SOC Data & Platform ManagementOversee the administration and maintenance of SOC-managed security systemsCollaborate with Splunk Admins to monitor platform health, troubleshoot ingestion delays, and resolve data gapsCoordinate with product SMEs to manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements across tools such as Network Anomaly Detection (e.g., Darktrace), Threat & Attack Surface Management platforms, Forensic Investigation toolsImplement and manage data retention policies aligned with compliance and operational requirementsStudy, coordinate, and manage integrations between various security platforms to automate SOC workflows and reportingEnsure secure access controls and enforce role-based permissions across SOC platformsSupport the generation of SOC metrics and monthly KRI/KPI dashboardsAssist with audit and regulatory responses, ensuring timely and accurate communicationMaintain platform documentation and contribute to SOPs and governance processes
