As a Systems Engineer, you will spearhead the design and development of avionics systems for UAV platforms. This role focuses on mission-specific and safety-critical requirements.Research and select suitable electronic components, sensors, and hardware for performance, reliability, and environmental adaptability.Integrate GPS, IMU, lidar, radar, and vision systems for navigation, obstacle avoidance, and situational awareness.Develop, test, and maintain autopilot and navigation software, leveraging real-time data and control algorithms.Implement redundancy and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable operations during flight.Key qualifications include:A bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, project management, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in UAV or aerospace systems.Proven expertise in avionics system design, integration, and testing, particularly in VTOL platforms.Strong proficiency in embedded systems, control algorithms, and sensor integration.Experience managing UAV development projects in an R&D environment.Strong understanding of UAV technologies, systems, and development methodologies.
