Lead Data Analyst and Programmer

Senior Statistical ProgrammerThe ideal candidate will utilize SAS or other software to create summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.They will ensure that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements. Additionally, they will perform validation programming and work with other Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, and other project team members to resolve discrepancies or findings.They may develop specifications for datasets and outputs according to statistical and Sponsor requirements. They will anticipate and address potential programming issues, demonstrate foresight, establish a basis for efficient programming, accurately define all variables to be accepted by peer review and sponsor/requestor with minimal rework.They will keep project team members informed of programming progress and issues requiring their attention and maintain templates needed for successful implementation of the project.They will maintain well-organized, complete, and up-to-date project documentation, verification/quality control documents, and programs ensuring inspection readiness.They will manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, set goals based on priorities from management, and adapt to timeline or priority changes by reorganizing daily workload.They may act as co-Lead Statistical Programmer, direct programming activities of other programming personnel, and monitor progress on programming deliverables.They will coordinate project start-up activities, creation of global programs, tracking spreadsheets, and other required documentation.They will interact with sponsors and internal stakeholders regarding statistical programming issues.They will assist project teams in resolving problems encountered in their daily work.They have the ability to fill Statistical Programming Lead role on projects in the absence of the Project lead.They will input into and negotiate statistical programming timelines. Ensure that timelines are adhered to.They will coordinate and co-lead a statistical programming team to successful completion of a study within given timelines and budget.They will monitor project resourcing, project budgets, and identify changes in scope.They will follow applicable SOPs, WIs, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
