Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager – Channel Partners (AP) to drive the growth and success of our AP business.
The role includes onboarding new Channel Partners (APs), providing continuous support until they are fully operational, and ensuring their success by driving business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Product, Digital Marketing, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding, training, and engagement of APs.
They will also be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business model for APs, while collaborating with other product managers to ensure APs are well-versed in driving key products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AP Business Growth & Onboarding:
• Partner Acquisition: Strategically onboard new Chanel Partners (APs) by developing and executing effective acquisition plans. Ensure smooth onboarding and handhold APs until they are ready to drive business outcomes.
• Business Model Development: Create and implement a business model for APs that fosters their success and drives revenue growth. Develop a rating system to categorize APs based on performance, identifying high and low performers.
• Revenue Generation: Drive revenues from AP business by collaborating with APs to promote products such as Demat, Retail Trading, and Wealth Management products (e.g., Mutual Funds, IPOs, Bonds, FDs).
2. Product Development & FinDost Dashboard:
• Smart Dashboard Development (FinDost): Collaborate with the Product team to build and enhance the FinDost dashboard for APs, ensuring it integrates key functionalities such as order placement, performance tracking, sales management, and compliance adherence.
• AP Needs & Features: Work closely with APs to understand their requirements and ensure the dashboard is designed to streamline their operations. Provide continuous feedback to the Product team for updates and improvements.
3. Digital Marketing & Engagement:
• Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Digital Marketing team to create and execute online campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and conversions for the AP business.
• Lead Conversion & Engagement: Leverage insights and analytics to optimize digital marketing efforts, targeting both prospective and existing APs to increase engagement and drive conversions.
4. Offline Engagement & Events:
• Seminars & Webinars: Organize and execute offline engagements such as seminars, webinars, and events to educate APs, drive engagement, and boost conversions.
• Networking & Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with APs through regular interaction, networking events, and hands-on workshops.
5. Training & Development:
• AP Training Programs: Collaborate with the Training and Development Manager to ensure APs are onboarded with proper training on platforms, tools, and compliance. Close the loop by offering continuous learning and development opportunities for APs.
• Content Creation: Develop and manage training content, including videos, webinars, and documentation, to enhance the capabilities of APs and ensure they are well-equipped to drive revenue.
6. Compliance Management:
• Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure all APs adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements. Monitor compliance-related activities and provide support to ensure smooth functioning of AP businesses.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaboration with Other Product Managers: Work with Product Managers (Demat, Retail Trading, Wealth Products) to ensure APs are trained and equipped to promote these products. Help APs understand and effectively drive key offerings to their clients.
• Cross-Sell Opportunities: Identify and implement cross-sell opportunities across various product categories with the help of APs.
8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
• AP Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of APs using KPIs and analytics. Provide ongoing feedback to APs, offering support and resources to improve their performance.
• Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on the AP business to senior management, highlighting performance trends, engagement metrics, and revenue outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in product management, partner management, or channel sales, preferably in the financial services or stockbroking industry.
• Strong understanding of AP business models and partner management, with a proven track record of driving partner success.
• Experience in developing and managing dashboards, particularly those tailored for business partners or sub-brokers, is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and experience in creating targeted campaigns for partner engagement and lead generation.
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to guide and motivate partners and internal teams.

• Customer-Centric: Strong focus on understanding the needs and challenges of Authorized Partners, driving solutions to meet those needs.
• Data-Driven: Ability to use data analytics to track performance, optimize marketing efforts, and drive decision-making.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with digital tools, dashboards, and fintech solutions that enhance the performance of partners.
• Strategic & Collaborative: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive business success.
• Compliance-Oriented: Strong understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to ensure that APs adhere to regulations and policies.
