Senior DevOps Engineer

Skills Required:
  • 5 years of experience in designing implementing and supporting a geographically dispersed highly available storage infrastructure.
  • Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • A methodical and rigorous approach to problemsolving.
  • Experience in production SaaS environments hosted in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS VMware Azure or IBM Cloud.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Go Python C/C Java or similar.
  • Expertise in writing debugging and maintaining automation scripts and code using Bash Ansible Python Java or Golang.
  • Handson experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes (IKS GCE) RedHat OpenShift and Docker.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Tekton Ansible Tower Terraform GitHub and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like statsd ELK PagerDuty Slack Prometheus Elasticsearch and Logstash.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Ability to administrate configure optimize and monitor services and servers at scale.
  • Proficiency with modern container systems such as Docker Vagrant Rancher AWS Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible Chef and Puppet.
  • Experience setting up network interfaces and ports in containers with familiarity in solutions like AWS ECS.
  • Understanding of networking concepts like VPC Subnets Security Groups and NAT gateways.
  • Familiarity with both RDBMS and NoSQL cluster management and performance tuning.

Responsibilities:
  • Design build and manage the systems and infrastructure that support our applications.
  • Lead the design and development of new features.
  • Strengthen and secure microservices and publicfacing API gateway attack surfaces.
  • Implement continuous delivery processes using tools like Tekton Travis Jenkins Ansible and Kubernetes.
  • Perform capacity planning system tuning and service performance analysis for improved observability.
  • Orchestrate cloud services using automation tools like Terraform Ansible and Tekton.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in both production and test environments.
  • Develop automation to enhance deployment speed and service reliability in a containerized ecosystem.
