Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airframe Engineer to join our team.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom software solutions using ABAP programming language. They will work on optimizing existing code for performance, maintainability, and compliance with SAP clean-core principles.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain custom ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).Optimize existing code for performance, maintainability, and compliance with SAP clean-core principles.Implement CDS Views, OData services, AMDP, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of ABAP programs.SAP Joule & AI Services IntegrationEnable SAP Joule AI capabilities for workflow automation, natural-language interaction, and contextual insights.Integrate Joule AI agents with ABAP logic for predictive analytics, recommendations, and process automation.Collaborate with data scientists and integration teams to expose ABAP data models to Joule for training and inference.Build reusable APIs for Joule-driven user experiences within SAP Fiori or BTP extensions.SAP BTP & Cloud ExtensibilityDevelop and deploy ABAP Cloud applications using SAP BTP ABAP Environment.Integrate with cloud services (SAP AI Core, SAP Event Mesh, Integration Suite, CAP).Apply Clean Core and Side-by-Side Extension principles for extensibility.Use BTP cockpit, destinations, and connectivity services to link on-premise and cloud systems.Quality, Governance, and DevSecOpsAdhere to SAP's clean-core guidelines and DevSecOps best practices for CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, gCTS).Document technical specifications, unit tests, and transport management.Participate in peer code reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.Innovation & CollaborationPartner with functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, HR, etc.) to understand business requirements.Drive innovation by embedding AI insights and automation triggers into ABAP processes.Stay updated on SAP's evolving GenAI, BTP, and S/4HANA roadmap.
