Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by crafting and executing effective test strategies.The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java for building automated test cases, proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end web application testing, and hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Java-based libraries like RestAssured.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP protocols, familiarity with database querying (SQL) to validate backend results, and knowledge of version control tools such as Git. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines is also highly desirable.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Cypress for web and API applications.Design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar libraries to ensure system integration quality.Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.Debug issues by analyzing application logs, error messages, and stack traces.Continuously improve automation frameworks for efficiency, coverage, and scalability.Work closely with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Maintain test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability across the QA lifecycle.Document and communicate testing results, defect statuses, and metrics to stakeholders effectively.Qualifications include:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation testing.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
