IT Application Manager

Job Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications (excluding SAP) within the organization Application Management: Collaborate with business users & cross functional teams to understand their requirements and suggest suitable solutions. Provide technical support and guidance. Oversee the lifecycle of non-SAP applications, including procurement, implementation, configuration, and upgrades. Ensure applications meet business requirements and operate effectively within the organization’s IT ecosystem. Ensure seamless integration of non-SAP applications with other enterprise systems, including SAP and legacy software. Ensure applications adhere to organizational security policies and regulatory compliance requirements. Support and Troubleshooting: Review the pending actions, follow-up and escalate in case of any issues. Ensure timely resolution of critical issues with the help of the vendor. Establish and monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Key Skills and Competencies: Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of non-SAP applications (e.g., PLM, MES, CRM, HRIS, WMS, etc.). Project Management : Proficient in managing large-scale application implementation and integration projects. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and optimize complex systems. Communication : very good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business users. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 8-10 years of experience in IT applications management Hands-on experience in software Testing / development/project management/ Digital Transformations / IIOT and integrations in a manufacturing/cpg organizations. Certifications : ITIL Certification (preferred) Performance Metrics: Uptime and performance of non-SAP applications. Adherence to project timelines and budgets.
