Senior Government Liaison Officer

Role Overview:This key role is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with senior government officials, industry associations, and think tanks.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Engagement:Promote regular interactions between members and key stakeholders through meetings, roundtables, and conferences.Identify and engage key decision-makers for policy advocacy.Negotiate meetings for leadership with offices and protocol officers of Ministers at the Central level and Chief Ministers at the State level.Develop and maintain relationships with senior journalists in MediaPolicy Analysis & Advocacy:Monitor and analyze government policies, legislations, and regulatory developments relevant to industry members.Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and recommendations for government consultations and meetings.Pursue acceptance of policy representations made to ministries and regulatory bodies.Effective Communication & Documentation:Maintain high-quality written and spoken communications, briefing notes, and presentations for leadership.Develop and maintain an updated database of key government contacts and policy developments.
