This is a full-time role as a Technical Accounting Analyst as part of the Reinsurance Technical accounting team. You will be responsible to manage everyday task delivery such as calculations/preparation/booking of reinsurance premiums, commissions and losses/recoveries and cash clearing and Intercompany settlements.


Job Responsilities

  • P&C insurance Operations
  • Basic understanding of Reinsurance concepts
  • Assisting the team with data clean-up activities in the application
  • Co-ordinating with Onshore Team to understand the requirements, understanding them accurately and being of timely support in performing the required activities
  • Seamless management of daily production tracking tools
  • Ensure that agreed priorities, deadlines and service standards are achieved
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients directly to clarify and resolve operational issues such as missing accounting information, incorrect data as per validation framework, payment delays etc
  • Work in close collaboration with the cross functional teams


Key Capabilities and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills
  • End to end knowledge of Insurance & Reinsurance accounting
  • Team handling experience and exposure of working with international clients
  • Flexibility to work as an individual contributor wherever required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Advance excel knowledge with hands on Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, MS Access etc. is an added advantage


Qualifications:

  • Fresher/1-2 years with relevant exposure in the industry
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any relevant field
