About the PositionSeeking a seasoned Tax Manager to lead US Individual Tax preparation and compliance. Ideal candidate should have extensive technical expertise in US tax laws, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team under tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review US Tax Returns (Form 1040, 1040NR, 1120, 1065)Ensure adherence to IRS regulations and tax filing standardsReview complex tax scenarios including:Investment income (Schedule B)Rental income (Schedule E)Business income (Schedule C)Capital gains (Schedule D)Foreign tax credits, AMT, state returns, etc.Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize client filingsTeam Management & LeadershipLead, mentor, and train a team of tax associates and seniorsAssign work, monitor productivity, and ensure quality controlConduct technical training sessions on updated tax laws and regulationsReview team performance and provide structured feedbackClient InteractionCommunicate effectively with US clients, CPA firms, and internal stakeholdersResolve complex tax issues and provide advisory supportMaintain strong client relationships and ensure timely deliveryProcess EfficiencyEnsure timely tax filings during peak seasonImplement best practices to improve accuracy and efficiencyMaintain workflow using tax software and internal toolsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, taxation, or related field5+ years of experience in US Tax (1040, 1120, 1065)Hands-on experience with US tax software such as ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, CCH Axcess, UltraTaxStrong understanding of IRS rules and individual tax lawsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailGood English communication skills (written & verbal)
