Job DescriptionAs a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing PowerScale clusters across multi-protocol environments. This includes managing PowerScale clusters in NFS/SMB/HDFS/S3 environments and ensuring optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and optimize PowerScale clusters to ensure optimal performance in multi-protocol environments.Develop and implement strategies to improve data replication and management across PowerScale clusters.Lead cluster lifecycle tasks including node addition, rebalancing, SmartFail, and tech refresh activities.Configure and validate network connectivity (VLANs, LACP, MTU, routing, DNS, NTP) and work with security teams on firewall rules.Handle AD integrations across multi-domain/forest setups, including trusts, ID mapping, and authentication troubleshooting.Optimize PowerScale for HDFS workloads (Hive, Impala, Empower) when required.Follow ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management, ensuring clear documentation.A successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.Requirements8-14 years of experience in administration and optimization of PowerScale clusters.Strong knowledge of PowerScale architecture and data management concepts.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Experience supporting large clusters (25–70+ nodes).Vulnerability management experience.Client-facing roles in enterprise environments.Preferred SkillsThe ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise environments and providing exceptional customer service. They will also possess strong analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot complex issues.
