As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build data pipelines for enterprise search applications using ADF and Databricks. This role involves designing and implementing data integration feeds according to requirements, reviewing business needs, and developing pipelines between different data sources.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement data integration feeds in accordance with requirementsReview business needs and design pipelines that load data into Azure Data Lakes or Azure Data warehouses, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, or cloud servicesDevelop pipelines between different data sources, including XML, flat files, SAP, and databasesPerform code optimization and adhere to IFC standardsMonitor and improve performance of Azure data feedsCreate design, functional/technical specification documents, or any artifacts neededRequirements:A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field+8 years of experience in data modeling, data/information architecture, metadata management, master data management, data governance, and data qualityExpertise on Azure platforms, including experience in Azure Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, and its various componentsIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure data stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Spark, and Python/PySpark programmingStrong experience with designing ETL/ELT pipelines/data flows using Azure Data Factory as the primary skill and SSIS/Informatica as additional skillsMust have strong development & design skills in leading RDBMS environments, such as MS SQL Server and OracleExpertise in complex SQL queries is requiredExperience with big data approach, architectural concepts, data sourcing/ingestion/curation, and storage mechanismsExperience with real-time/near-real-time data warehousing concepts and design approachesLeveraging components like Azure Automation, Azure PowerShell Scripting, Az Copy, DevOps/ARM TemplatesFluent in EnglishWhat We Offer:The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data-lakes, raw/enriched/curated layer concepts, and ETL within Azure framework.Additional Information:This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data engineering projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.],
