Senior Data Privacy ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking a seasoned data privacy manager with extensive experience in developing and implementing robust data protection strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, data encryption, and anonymization, as well as expertise in data loss prevention and database security.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection strategy that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.Design and implement advanced DLP policies, standards, and incident response frameworks to protect against data breaches and cyber threats.Oversee the implementation of robust encryption and key management solutions to safeguard data at rest, in transit, and in use.Manage daily database activity monitoring operations, including dashboard analysis, incident investigation, and system tuning to ensure optimal performance and security.Lead initiatives in insider risk management, data retention, backup protection, data discovery, and risk assessments to drive continuous improvement in data protection maturity.Engage with executive leadership, steering committees, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and compliance with evolving data protection regulations.Requirements:12+ years of experience in data protection, cybersecurity, or related field with a strong background in governance, encryption, and anonymization.Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, risk, legal, audit, or data protection implementation roles within a large financial institution.Proven track record of success in enhancing data protection posture, reducing enterprise risk, and driving innovation in security solutions.Strong communication skills with ability to engage senior leadership and regulatory bodies.Certifications in data protection, security, and/or related fields (e.g., CIPPe, CDPSE, CISSP).Desirable Skills:Expertise in DLP technologies (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview).Knowledge of encryption and key management solutions (KMS, HSM, Tokenization).Familiarity with DAM platforms (IBM Guardium / Imperva / others).Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, PDPL, and Privacy Regulations.
