Job Title: Glean Engineer & Administrator

Location: Pan India


Job Summary:

We’re seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Glean Engineer & Administrator responsible for

managing, optimizing, and maintaining Glean - the enterprise knowledge search and

collaboration platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills,

and strong collaboration abilities to help our organization unlock the full potential of Glean for

enhanced employee productivity and knowledge sharing.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform Administration:

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Glean platform, ensuring smooth
  • functionality and accessibility for all users.
  • Manage user access, permissions, roles, and licenses in line with organizational
  • policies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.

2. Implementation & Customization:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to configure Glean for specific organizational
  • needs and workflows.
  • Optimize platform search capabilities and knowledge indexing to align with
  • business priorities.
  • Design and implement customizations, integrations with other enterprise systems
  • (e.g., Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, etc.), and automation workflows.

3. Knowledge Management Optimization:

  • Develop strategies to enhance the quality and discoverability of shared
  • knowledge within Glean.
  • Configure taxonomy, tagging systems, and other organizational structures for
  • better knowledge categorization.

4. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze usage metrics, adoption rates, and search patterns to assess platform
  • effectiveness.
  • Provide stakeholders with insights and recommendations for improving user
  • experience and knowledge accessibility.

5. Training & Support:

  • Create and deliver training materials and sessions for employees to maximize
  • Glean adoption.
  • Offer end-user support and serve as a point of contact for employees
  • encountering technical challenges.

6. Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure compliance with organizational security protocols and data protection
  • policies.
  • Work closely with IT teams to address security concerns and maintain system
  • integrity.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years experience in enterprise software administration or
  • knowledge management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Glean or similar enterprise search tools (e.g., Coveo,
  • SharePoint, ElasticSearch).


Skills:

  • Proficiency in integrating APIs and working with enterprise tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address platform challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with users and
  • stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
