Solar Power Systems Design Engineer

Job OverviewAs a senior engineer, you will lead the design and integration of advanced Plant Master Controllers (PMC), ensuring seamless coordination between PV, BESS, and grid systems.Key Responsibilities:Design PMC response and grid-forming capabilities for standalone restoration and islanded operation.Oversee PMC integration with SCADA, BMS, and substation control systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and utility standards.Conduct vendor technical evaluations, review specifications, and support procurement with validation documentation.Ensure timely delivery of all engineering drawings, documentation, and vendor submittals within scope.Coordinate with cross-functional teams across AC design, site execution, supply chain, and clients.Lead and mentor a team of engineers and draughtspersons, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables and adherence to standards.Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases with technical clarifications and design inputs.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of electrical power systems and SCADA protocols.Experience with design and integration of advanced control systems.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.Excellent communication and project management skills.Benefits:This role offers a challenging opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.Others:We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
