Job PurposeDrive overall business of the branch by ensuring exceptional customer service, proactive sales environment, seamless back-office operations and overall profitable branchEnhance existing relationships with customers and build new relationships to increase the customer baseEnsure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations and guidelinesKey AccountabilitiesDrive implementation of the overall Bank strategy at branch level (asset and liability, marketing, sales, operations) in consultation with the Cluster HeadDevelop and implement branch specific marketing & communication strategies to build DBS brand and to achieve branch targetsOwner of Branch P&L, Cascade the branch scorecard to branch and sales employees to ensure achievement of targetsDevelop and ensure adherence to the operating budget for the branch in line with the corporate and regional budgetJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate sales through assets, liability and other banking products as well as TPPMonitor on a regular basis the actual achievement of sales targets vis-à-vis plans for the branch; take necessary action to minimize deviations, if anyBuild and manage effective customer relationship with key customers tagged to him/her; enable superior customer service to them; Advise them on making robust investment and financial decisionsReduce customer dormancy and customer attritionEnsure branch target achievement through effective upselling and cross sellingDevelop the business prospects in the branch vicinity by scouting for avenues to expand overall branch book, both assets & liability portfolio qualitatively & quantitativelyEnsure effective execution of marketing campaigns and conversion of customer referralsDrive Business growth through prospective high net worth individuals, along with Relationship managers to maintain positive relationshipsAddress customer queries and grievances escalated by the branch personnel in a timely mannerEnsure Lead sharing with respective Business like IBG for Assets etc.Manage public relations and liaison with local government authorities / RBI/ other banks for day to day branch operations and reportingSupport the internal and external audit team in carrying out the periodic branch audit; Formulate action plans to address the deviations found in auditProvide guidance to branch personnel on effective customer relationship management, sales, customer service and compliance to ensure achievement of individual targets.Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory certifications for branch personnelDrive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team membersRequirements6-8 years in handling Branch of a reputed BankEducation / Preferred QualificationsMBACore CompetenciesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to build strong relationships with clients.ResponsibleAbility to meet deadlines.Knowledge about internal/external regulations.Technical CompetenciesGood Computer KnowledgeWork RelationshipEffective communication between self and superiorInter-personal skills & team playerDisplay of RED Attitude (Reliable, Easy to deal with & Dependable)DBS India - Culture & BehaviorsDBS is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and their opinions count. Job PurposeTo be responsible for the overall management of the Bank's business & operations in the cluster (including branch level) in accordance specified guidelines, so as to ensure best of class client experience within acceptable level of risks. To be the P&L owner for assets and liabilities in the respective clusterKey AccountabilitiesResponsibility for Cluster P&L, Serve as a pivotal member of the leadership team in formulating Bank goals & strategy (short term and long term) and translation of the same to business plan at a cluster and branch levelDevelop and implement strategies and plans consistent with established goals in each product line and service in the cluster & ensure achievement of branch and cluster level Business Targets.Collaborate with Product Teams, Operations Teams, Regional delivery teams, branches in developing operational plans for the cluster based on the overall targets and budgets for the region.Regularly conducts detailed reviews of the Bank's operations and takes appropriate decisions for reallocating resources and re-deciding priorities.Recommend plan for setting up of new branches and ATMs in the region as per requirementsJob Duties & responsibilities Drive implementation of marketing promotions and campaigns across all product propositions in the respective clusterManage deployment of manpower across the branches in the respective clusterEnsure efficient operations in the cluster by establishing and monitoring adherence to operational policies and procedures.Develop and ensure implementation of changes in policies and procedures to improve productivity and service levels.
