CAD Operator Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Structural CAD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Autodesk Advance Steel and be able to support the design, detailing, and documentation of steel structures.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel for structural steel projects.Produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.Ensure models and drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.Coordinate with structural engineers, and workshop to resolve design issues.Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent naming conventions and workflows.Support the optimization of internal CAD standards and modeling procedures.Requirements:Proven experience as a CAD Operator or Steel Detailer working with Autodesk Advance Steel(mandatory).Strong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN is the only used).Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail — mistakes here cost real money.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Good English communication skills for technical documentation and coordination.Benefits:A role where your output directly shapes real projects.Modern tools, fast decision-making, and a team that appreciates competence.Growth opportunities in advanced modeling, automation, and digital fabrication.What We Offer:A dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.The opportunity to work on challenging projects with talented professionals.
