What will you be doing?

Strategic Financial Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead long-term financial planning and risk management initiatives.
  • Ensure effective financial decision-making to support business growth.


Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and market conditions.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, addressing any variances.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee contracts with Clients & Vendors
  • Identify & implement risk management measures in consultation with seniors personnel

Tax Compliance:

  • Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, income tax returns, and other mandatory filings.
  • Manage tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues or disputes.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Investment and Capital Management:

  • Manage the company’s investment portfolio and make strategic investment decisions.
  • Oversee capital structure and funding strategies to support business operations.

Cost Control and Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Implement process improvements and financial controls to enhance profitability.
  • Monitor and manage operational expenses to ensure financial sustainability.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and initiatives.
  • Ensure the finance team remains up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the seniors
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with investors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

What are we looking for?

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably within the IT consulting or technology sector.
  • Proven track record in financial & compliance management, strategic planning, and risk management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial software (working knowledge in Zoho Modules desirable), ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry-specific financial practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements in India.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to diverse audiences.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

CA Qualified Professionals Mandatory
