Cloud Architect and DevOps LeadAbout the Role:We are seeking an exceptional Cloud Architect and DevOps Lead to drive the design, implementation, and governance of large-scale eCommerce platforms on Azure. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills.Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:Leading the implementation, optimization, and governance of Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.Designing scalable, reliable, and high-performing eCommerce solutions using technologies like Kafka, in-memory databases, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, Kubernetes (K8s), and Akamai.Providing hands-on expertise and mentoring junior engineers to ensure growth and technical excellence within the team.Developing and enforcing security standards and industry best practices to protect our cloud-native solutions.Overseeing release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation to ensure seamless delivery of products to market.Driving governance initiatives, including policy development, enforcement, and compliance monitoring to maintain our competitive edge.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement agile/scrum ceremonies and foster effective adoption of agile practices.Designing and implementing tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to manage infrastructure autonomously.Evaluating and defining the long-term cloud & DevOps strategy for our organization.Managing critical incidents (P0 issues) with a strong ownership mindset, including night/weekend support.Communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through documentation, presentations, and discussions.Ensuring frameworks and infrastructure are scalable and robust by acting as a hands-on engineer when required.Implementing disaster recovery strategies and ensuring high availability, elasticity, and observability of our platforms.About You:To be successful in this role, you will need:Proven experience as a Cloud Architect and DevOps Lead in an Azure environment.Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.A deep understanding of security standards and industry best practices.Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and the ability to drive their adoption within a team.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:A comprehensive health insurance plan.A retirement savings plan with company matching.Flexible working hours and remote work options.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A dynamic and supportive work environment.How to Apply:If you are a motivated and experienced Cloud Architect and DevOps Lead looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and experience.
