Strategic Fleet Operations ManagerThe Fleet Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management of vessels. This includes ensuring that all maintenance and repair programs are properly implemented, monitored, and evaluated.Key responsibilities include monitoring vessel performance, managing spare parts and stores availability, conducting regular inspections, handling damage claims, and defect reports.In addition to maintenance and repair tasks, the Fleet Operations Manager will also oversee the preparation of vessels for dry docking, including evaluating tender documents and preparing necessary documentation. They will also be responsible for monitoring operating costs and expenses associated with vessel operations.Crew related duties include monitoring crew overtime, rest/work hours, appraising senior officers, and providing updates to Marine Human Resources Department.The Fleet Operations Manager will also plan and coordinate safety inspections, statutory and classification surveys, and notify relevant authorities accordingly. They will ensure compliance with international regulations and quality standards at all times.
