The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CMOS analog design principles and hands-on experience with various analog circuit blocks.Essential Technical Skills:Analog Circuit Blocks: OTA, Charge Pump, Bandgap Reference, Ring Oscillator, LC-VCO, etc.SERDES-related Circuits: TIA, DRV, P2S, Serializer, RCOMP, Calibration Blocks, Receiver Front-End, CTLE, DFE, CDR Loop, Phase Interpolators, Deserializer, S2P, FFE, Pre-Drivers, Level Shifters, V2I Circuits, Slicers, Samplers, and other custom building blocks.Cadence Virtuoso: Proficiency in Schematic & Layout editors.MOS Device Operation: A solid understanding of MOS device operation.Key Responsibilities:Circuit Design: Designing analog/mixed-signal circuits to meet target specifications.Layout & Analysis: Performing layout of designed circuits and analyzing parasitic effects.Hardware Measurements: Conducting hardware measurements and analyzing silicon results.Critical Parameters: Evaluating the impact of device characteristics on circuit-level behavior and identifying critical parameters for system-level performance.Automation Initiatives: Contributing to automation initiatives and efficiency-improvement projects.
