Responsibilities
1 Customer Interactions Drive customer engagements to analyze their Cloud estate identify cost overheads and help with value realization and cost optimization Become a trusted advisor to our customers and guide them with design and delivery of FinOps and governance strategies
2 Design and implement financial processes Design and implement financial processes that align with typical organizational goals including budgeting forecasting cost allocation invoicing and financial reporting Design controls for compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private public and hybrid cloud models including IaaS PaaS and other cloud services
3 Cost optimization Management Design mechanisms for continuous monitoring of financial data to identify and implement cost optimizations across cloud Analyzing spending patterns identification of cost saving opportunities and recommendation for optimizing costs without compromising operational efficiency
4 Systems design and implementation Collaborate with larger product development team to design and implement financial systems tools and technologies Provide recommendations on software solutions that streamline financial operations improve data accuracy and enhance reporting capabilities
5 Propose financial controls Design controls and processes to ensure accuracy integrity and security of financial data Develop policies and enforcement procedure related to financial transactions data management and internal audit processes
6 Contribute to Product Development Engage with LTIMs FinOps product engineering team and provide innovative ideas suggestions on feature enhancements.
